That’s a beautiful looking razor!

On the Rockwell Website it says the T2 SS is made in China. I was looking for a US made razor, they make the 6S in the US

Greetings Ohio Shave, I just came across your channel, and watched a couple videos. I think you’re doing a fine job. I started using a DE razor about 8 months ago. Choosing a razor was difficult- so many options. But the prices made it more difficult because I can’t just buy several razors to decide which one is right for me because I’m retired and living on a teacher’s pension. Fortunately, I found the Rockwell 6S and got it on sale with an entire kit - soap, brush, oil, after shave. It was an offer too good to pass up! And I’m glad I got it. Great quality razor with the ability to adjust by switching base plates. I later got a Henson + on sale. It’s really good. But the 6S is my razor of choice.

Frustration with the barbers - that can be a reason for some who shave their head. We each have our story.

I just got one of these, and I’m a complete rookie with safety razors. My first mistake was going with the 1 setting on two days growth. My second was using the blades that came with it. I ordered 14 different blades with the razor, and will start trying them out.

DE shaving is fantastic. The biggest improvement for me is how the condition of my facial skin improved-dramatically! I do the pre-shave scrub, the shave of course, the aftershave alum wipe, then Thayers witch hazel, and finally a balm. Not sure which one of those products improved my skin; maybe it’s a combination of all of them, but it’s great!

Man imma start to shave with oil i keep cutting myself little micro cuts

The best razors still to this day... You can't get a closer shave than this.. I only bust these out for special occasions.. when i need to look extremely clean and sharp.

In general would you recommend this over the t2s?

Hi brother can you do a video or tell me if you have tested before like astra platinum vs gillete platinum which is sharper and smooth? Or have you tested before

I have one question about it, the wet shaving community always complains about cartridge razors for all the good reasons. I understand that it covers the financial aspect to some extent but does it solve other issues like "more blades means more damage on skin" or " causing ingrown hair" etc?

Hi did you test out any Yaqi razors? Looking down the video list I didn’t see any. I live in Asia and most of the razors I can get are Chinese. Also the blades like the Gillette London bridge or the feather are the blades that are redly available here. Feathers leave my skin dry and irritated so I choose the Gillette. Find it much more forgiving.

I thought astra was good all this time… which blade do you recommend?

Do a video with the Razorock 37c razor. And then tell us if you still think the Timeless is the smoothest razor.

The fact that you have to go against the grain makes it less than ideal. Seems decent for what it's worth, but I don't really want to spend 15+ minutes shaving.

Proraso is great! I have the white Proraso, that’s a nice small razor for shaving the head

David, I just received my first Timeless SS razor with all 3 bases, 2 top caps and the stand (polished). I had my first shave just yesterday with the 68 scalloped head…the Drommedaris tallow-based soap and an AccuForge blade. Whoa…I didn’t want the shave to end!! I can’t say enough about Timeless (a made-in-the USA masterpiece that would make NASA jealous)…the US-made blade and a stupidly-good, luxuriously slick lather. You-da-man…LOL. Cheers.

Looks like a good razor thanks for the review. I got with Thayers snow mushroom in the winter a little goes a long way.

It takes me 75 seconds to bowl lather and make a ton of lather. Consistent lather every time. It takes me longer to face lather.

Wow! What a great set up my friend. I will have to get that open for my Timeless Slim. BTW I love the lather helmet.

Hey I was trying to find a genuine channel about shaving and I am glad I found yours. Can you advise me whether I can shave both my hair and face & neck area with the same razor?

Your skills in making videos have leveled up for sure. Damn good. How long do you have to edit a video to make it this good? That shave looked so smooth. EDM machine is just crazy we use those machines to make cooling channels in jet turbine blades.

If I saw correctly, you have two timeless razors, both with scalloped top caps; one with a scalloped base, and the other open comb. Do you find you get better results with the scalloped top cap than a plain one? The short travel handle for head shaving is interesting. Some head shavers actually prefer longer handles, but I suppose the size of one's hands may play into that preference. I do like having an alum block on hand. It is a very useful instructional tool to reveal the truth of my technique and execution. But, I don't use it every day, only when I see blood or am trying something new. Thanks for sharing the hardware, the tips, and the techniques.

While I don't shave my head I have started shaving the back of my neck. My barber noticed the change the next trip. Used to have him shave my neck with a straight razor but now no need. Thanks for a great review.

I didn't head shave yet. But, if I go that route I know who I'll watch and ask for advice from.

What is the difference between the Ti68 and Ti95?

This is one of the razors I've been considering as a first razor for my nephew's 17th birthday. He just started shaving and his dad threw an electric at him and said "here you go." I intend to show him the 'proper' way. Been debating between the Henson, TRC, and Yates SS winning. The TRC is out after watching this review. Have you reviewed they Yates by any chance?

Great shave Dave! This Timeless Ti 95 Open comb sounds really efficient yet smooth. How does it compare to the Rockwell 6s in blade feel ? does it have much more blade feel than the R6 plate ?

Dave you introduced me to timeless, and I got a mix. I got the titanium handle, and titanium scalloped top cap then added the .95 scalloped and open comb SS base plate to add weight. All of it polished, and It’s perfection in my opinion. Thank you.! It’s now the only non adjustable I use the rest are a collection of adjustable.

That is a nice little razor. Does it come with a choice of ordering a longer handle ?

Holding the razor still and rotating the head is something I never did until I saw you do it a long time ago. Killer tip right there. I also go the other way as well by almost pushing the razor backward across my head. That tends to get almost everything except for the "credit card slot" back there xD Awesome double shave David.

They are indeed different. Russian is much more stiff and the Indian is thinner and cuts smoothly. Prefer the Indians.

Does boar brush give you skin irritation?

How would you compare this razor to a Leaf Twig?

Hi just change the blade to astra russian made which so much better and faster the leaf blade is too slow too lousy no wonder given free,astra blade is more a closershave and smooth and get the job done in minutes

Amazing camera quality, TBF they are miles apart in aggression, a 3 plate would be nearer to the 34c.
